In 1988 I re-established my own Mortgage Company, as a tool to consult for larger mortgage banking operations, as well as various Homebuilding Companies and Commercial Land Developers. Such consultation led to Mortgage Team expanding into the commercial banking field with clients such as The Enderle Center, a commercial property; Large Commercial and Strip Center Lender) and Windsor Development (2nd Largest Strip Center Developer, West Coast) to name a few. Each firm utilized my expertise in financial analysis and planning to restructure their permanent financing, rent surveys, and updating estoppels.
In addition to Commercial Lending activities, I have developed relationships with banks such as Chevy Chase Bank, and IndyMac Bank, to name a few, implementing construction to perm. loan financing for Mortgage Team clients wishing to build Custom homes. Understanding all of the packaging requirements along with the escrow controls, while using my degree in architecture as a basis for home improvements has allowed me a better understanding for what these banks require thereby allowing me to get more for my clients.
